There are plenty of accommodation options within a short distance of the start, whether you prefer a hotel, an apartment, a guesthouse or a campsite.

Hotels & BnB
For hotels and other accommodation, we recommend looking in Trieste, Sežana, Basovizza, Pesek, and Kozina. All of these areas are within easy reach of Zarja Sports Center, with different options depending on whether you prefer to stay closer to the city, near the Slovenian border, or directly along the route to the start.

Camping
The closest official campsite is Camp Obelisco in Opicina, and Brajda Camping in Štorje, both within easy reach of Zarja Sports Center.

If you prefer to stay directly at the event headquarters, riders will also be allowed to pitch a tent at Zarja Sports Center on the night before the start. We will mark the designated camping area clearly so you know where to set up.

This is a simple overnight option rather than an equipped campsite, so please keep in mind:
– space for tents is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
– campervans, vans and other vehicles cannot stay overnight inside the Sports Center grounds.
– there will be no toilets, showers or other sanitary facilities available overnight before the event.

Please keep the area clean and make sure tents and equipment do not block access roads.

The Sports Center needs to remain easily accessible for riders, event crews and emergency services, so please follow the designated camping areas and any instructions from the team on site.
If you would like access to proper camping facilities, showers and bathrooms, we strongly recommend booking an official campsite instead!
